Sarah Contreras-Ortiz is a medical student in the class of 2021. She is from Ventura, CA. Her educational degrees include a BS in Bioengineering at the University of California Riverside. She plans to specialize in Family Medicine. Her professional interests include expanding on her previous experience in healthcare consulting and workforce development, as well as pursuing her interest in health disparities, healthcare policy and economics, and health education. In the rare downtime from medical school, she enjoys spending time with her Australian Shepherd Pippa.
