Bela Parekh

Class of 2024

Bela Parekh is a medical student in the class of 2024. She is from Towaco, New Jersey. For undergrad she got a BA in Biological Basis of Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Economics with a concentration in healthcare management from The Wharton School. Before coming to medical school, she worked as a consultant, focusing on strategy implementing value based care and developing sustained-delivery pharmaceuticals. Her professional interests include global health, drug pricing, and innovative care delivery models. Some of her favorite hobbies are yoga, exercising, cooking, and slap-stick Netflix comedies.
