Bassel Salka

Class of 2024

Bassel Salka is a medical student in the class of 2024. He is from Bloomfield Hills, MI. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering. He is a former healthcare engineer at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab and researched at the Center for Healthcare Engineering and Patient Safety. His professional interests include healthcare optimization, Lean, and medical education. His hobbies include traveling, reading about history, and unfortunately supporting the Detroit Lions.
