Highlights: Matt Pun is an second-year medical student at the University of Michigan Medical School with a background in public policy. Prior to starting medical school, he worked as a research assistant studying cancer genetics.
Education: Matt graduated from Duke University in 2015 with bachelor’s degrees in Public Policy and Biology and a certificate in Genomics and Science Policy. He began his M.D.-Ph.D. training in the summer of 2017.

Evaluating performance of different healthcare network models for Medicaid on a state-by-state basis
Identifying and analyzing efforts to develop radiation oncology workforces in low- and middle-income countries to develop consensus on best practices and identify areas for additional research opportunities
